Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda was an Filipino singer/songwriter, rose to prominence in the Philippines in the 1890s. He also became the new lead singer for the American rock band Journey in 2007. Arnel is 54 years old at the time of 2021. He was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on September 5 1967 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. Every year, he commemorates his birthday on the 5th of September. Arnel was born September 5, 2022 at 55 years old, is Virgo. Arnel has an average height of 5 feet 4 inches (164 centimeters). His family was left in debt after his mother's passing. His father, six months behind in rent payment and unable to support the family, asked his relatives to take in Arnel. Arnel noticed the need and decided to quit school in order to assist his father. Arnel was born at St. Jude Thaddeus Diagnostic Clinic in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines to Restituto Lising Pinda and Josefina Manansala Campaner. Arnel was inspired by his mother to sing when it was still a child. His parents enrolled him in numerous singing contests. Arnel's mom died from heart disease when Arel was 13. The family was left in debt after the death of his mother. His father was behind six months in the payment of rent and was not able to bring his family a steady income. Therefore, his father requested his family to help Arnel. Arnel is the youngest of three siblings, Roderick Pineda and Joselito Pineda. Arnel was aware of the gravity of his circumstance and quit school to help relieve his father's burden. Arnel went on to spend nearly two decades in the streets sleeping wherever the opportunity arose. He was a salesman for newspapers, glass bottles as well as scrap metals, to recyclers. Arnel also performed odd jobs such as cleaning scrap metals or docking ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. In 2001, the couple got married. Together, they have been blessed with two children that include a daughter (Thea Chenelle Pineda) and a son (Cherub). Arnel is also blessed with Matthew and Angelo the two older sons.
