Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush, an American pop group was formed in the year 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed with Nick Records in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. The group appeared in Nickelodeon’s television series Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28th, 2009 to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush" The group's initial single for promotion. The group has released three studio albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven , released in 2013. In 2014, the group went on an indefinite hiatus that ran until 2021. They returned to live performances in the studio and released "Call It Like It's What It's Like". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 simultaneously with the TV show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon joined forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to produce the series and release original music. For the show, their debut single, "Big Time Rush" was released on the 29th, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon the series first broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009 before it was released globally. The theme song was included in a pre-show for an hour, and it is the current show's opening tune. Promotional singles were also released by the show, which included "City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush performed "Famous" by Play. The song debuted on iTunes on June 29 the 29th of June, 2010. The second song, "Halfway There", was also released on iTunes after its debut on the show. The song was quickly the first single to chart on Billboard Hot 100. Due to sales on digital platforms the track climbed to 93. On September 21 in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You", to promote the release of their debut album. The album, which is titled BTR it was launched on the 11th of October in 2010. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. It sold an initial 67,000 copies.
