Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the contracting firm, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German & British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career in her early years as a participant in the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in a production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". As she grew older, Stone participated in various other productions until she made acting her career. As per the official story, she presented an PowerPoint slide presentation that was sponsored by the Madonna's Hollywood and dubbed "Project Hollywood" in an effort to persuade her parents and allow her to leave school and relocate to Los Angeles. Her mother and she made the pitch, and then moved to LA. Her schooling was done at home, and she would spend the rest of her time performing auditions. She made her TV debut in 2004, when she was given the role as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the Partridge Family. The show resulted in a variety of small TV parts in the years that followed. Her first film role was Jules in Superbad (2007) and after a string success, her main part as Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a rising star. In Phoenix, Arizona, she attended Xavier College Preparatory. While she is a redhead, the hair color that is natural to her is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she change her hair color to fit the style of Superbad (2007). She was so impressed, she decided to keep it. When she was 15years old, she persuaded her parents to let her to move to Hollywood by presenting a PowerPoint presentation appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She started acting when she was 11 years old, at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here, she starred on over 16 stages and also performed with the theatre's comedy improv group. Caylee Cowan also performed at the Valley Youth Theatre.
