Emma Watson

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was the daughter of British parents Jacqueline Luesby (a lawyer) and Chris Watson (a French mother). When she was five years old, older, she moved to Oxfordshire where she went to Dragon School. Emma was aware of her desire to be an actor from when she was six years old. She studied for a few years in the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts. This part-time theatre school taught her dancing, singing, and acting. She was a stagecoach actor and was the role of lead in various Stagecoach productions. The casting process began in 1999 for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone 2001 the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling book. Emma was found by casting agents through her Oxford theatre instructor. After eight consecutive auditions, David Heyman informed Emma and Rupert Grint that they were chosen to play Hermione Granger as well as Harry Potter. Emma's first screen appearance in a cinema was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001). It was the top-grossing film of 2001, smashing records for opening-day sales and opening weekend performances. The performances of the film and of its three stars were highly praised by the critics. The Daily Telegraph, a British newspaper that is widely distributed, praised Emma's performance as "admirable." Emma was awarded the Young Artist Award as Leading Young Actress in an feature Film in the same year, and was nominated for five prizes. Emma was among the most well-known actresses following the movie's success. For the next ten years, she was the character as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 2001, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 2002, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 2004 and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 2005. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 2007 and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 2009, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011). Emma was awarded two Critics' Choice Award nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
