Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation (born on October 1 1969): American comedian, comedian, musician, and writer. He was featured in a Comedy Central Presents special and presented his show Late World with Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has been a mainstay in many films which include The Hangover Trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010). The Campaign (2012), Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis has also voiced characters in animated films such as Puss In Boots (2011) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). He also voices Missing Link (2019) and Ron's Gone Wrong (2211). Galifianakis is the host of the Funny or Die website chat show Between Two Ferns. He was a star in FX's series Baskets. In 2017 his nomination was for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actor in an Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on the 1st of October 1969, in Wilkesboro. He is the father of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil retailer. His mother is Scottish-Irish and English origin, and his paternal grandparents are Greek immigrants from Crete. He was baptized within his father's Greek Orthodox faith. He has Merritt his younger sister along with Greg, his older brother. The cousin of his Nick Galifianakis (Washington Post cartoonist) is his uncle. Galifianakis was educated at Wilkes Central High School and after that, he attended North Carolina State University where he was a communications student. While in college Galifianakis worked for a public access station. He taught a waltz course in 1991 and he came into contact with Mary J. Blige. Galifianakis was on Saturday Night Live two weeks after making his television debut on Boston Common. According to him, he stated that he had been an Saturday Night Live host for two weeks, and Britney was my host on the other week.
