Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor from 11 November 1996. She made her debut in the Bond film, A View to a Kill in 1985. In 1989 she played Nazi-sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan Donovan was Charlotte on Taffin in 1988. Doody played the role in the film with Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. In the year 1991, Doody co-starred opposite Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. In Hollywood Doody moved to. She was Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent and her girlfriend on the set of Major League II. She had been chosen as an alternative to Cybill Shepherd who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. After almost a decade away from screen Doody came back to acting, and acted in a tiny role in 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine playing herself in an awards ceremony scene. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. She later guest starred in RTE's medical drama The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project ended up being cancelled.
