Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished in second place in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix was a senior in high school and signed a professional deal with the sports company Adidas and then enrolled in the University of Southern California where she was studying elementary education. One year later Felix earned her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200m. She won the title in 2007. won the title in front of her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She consistently placed at the top of the podium in every event.
